In its ruling of May 12, 1998 (312 O 85/98, “Liability for Links”), the Hamburg Regional Court decided that by placing a link, one may be jointly responsible for the content of the linked page. This can only be prevented by expressly distancing oneself from that content. We confirm that, at the time of linking, the linked websites were free of illegal content. Should the linked pages have since come to contain other content, we expressly distance ourselves from it and accept no liability for the content of these pages. Neither we nor our ISP or web host have any influence on the content of the linked pages.
